4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of ChessIconic may require a subscription or one-time purchase. Purchases and subscription management are handled by RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider (Apple App Store or Google Play).

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
  • Billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by the respective app store.
  • We do not collect or store payment information.

5. App Store and Google Play Terms

  • These Terms are between you and the developer of ChessIconic only, not Apple Inc.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  • Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

Google Play Store

  • These Terms are between you and the developer of ChessIconic only, not Google LLC.
  • Google is not responsible for the app or its support.
  • Payments and subscriptions through Google Play are governed by Google’s billing terms.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

ChessIconic may connect to external services such as Chess.com and Lichess.org to retrieve your game data for analysis.

  • Access to these services requires your authorization.
  • We do not store external account credentials on our servers.
  • Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms.

7. User Data

  • User-generated content is stored locally on your device.
  • We do not maintain user accounts or cloud storage.
  • We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, or system reset.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All app design, branding, interface elements, and original code are owned by ChessIconic or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of analysis, or error-free operation.
